In May of 2023, Mike and Gretchen O’Bleness rafted the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon with a private group of nine people in three 18-foot rafts. They previously rafted the Middle and Main Forks of the Salmon River, along with plenty of canoe and kayak adventures!
In this presentation you will learn many things about rafting the Colorado River. For example: What does rafting some 200 miles of the canyon entail? Where do you go to the bathroom? What has the Glan Canyon’s Dam impact been on the river? Who were the first explorers to document the river? What are the rapids like?
