Idaho Alpine Club will be hosting a snowshoeing event at the Caldera Rim (near the top of the Ashton Hill) this Saturday. We will decide at the junction if we will do the 2.6 mile loop or the 5 mile loop. The shorter part of the trail usually has a hard packed base, but we may be breaking new snow. It is hilly.
